Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Henrique Palmeira took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Velasques in the 5th minute of play forced Meceares's goalkeeper Rodolfo Lencastre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Sampaio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão Estrela's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Henrique Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Lencastre having to interfere. If Cristóvão Estrela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 played minutes SC Vergada got a freekick which was hit by Aparício Pires. Cristóvão Estrela struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Joaquim Sampaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meceares. Cristóvão Estrela might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquim Sampaio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristóvão Estrela ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquim Sampaio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Joaquim Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Estrela in the 28th minute of play. Rodolfo Lencastre came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Vergada's Henrique Palmeira. But to his dismay, Henrique Palmeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristóvão Estrela was the one to do the kick off. Sérgio Velasques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Monsanto charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Monsanto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Meceares getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alexandre Monsanto hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, SC Vergada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bento Salgueiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meceares's goalkeeper Rodolfo Lencastre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute Cristóvão Estrela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Josué Noronha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquim Sampaio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Josué Noronha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Sampaio having to interfere. When Meceares's Cristóvão Estrela in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Vergada's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Meceares's Alexandre Monsanto got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 85th minute, Josué Noronha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meceares fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Joaquim Sampaio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Meceares's Josué Noronha shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute.
