In the 3rd minute, Miguel Santarém ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquim Sampaio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Vergada's goalkeeper Joaquim Sampaio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Henrique Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Amaro having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, G.R.E.Queirela's goal looked a bit too open when Altino Coutinho came free, but António Amaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Humberto Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Sampaio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Santarém's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Miguel Santarém hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, G.R.E.Queirela's goalkeeper António Amaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sérgio Velasques. Miguel Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Joaquim Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Viana in the 39th minute of play forced SC Vergada's goalkeeper Joaquim Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Henrique Palmeira made the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Jorge Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Vergada's Joaquim Sampaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the game, G.R.E.Queirela's Miguel Santarém nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquim Sampaio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. G.R.E.Queirela's Humberto Gomes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristóvão Domingos in the 64 minute of the game. After 65 minutes of play, G.R.E.Queirela's Miguel Santarém made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquim Sampaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Vergada's Joaquim Sampaio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save SC Vergada from getting a goal against them. The long shot by Heitor Setúbal in the 82nd minute really tested Joaquim Sampaio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Miguel Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Joaquim Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Miguel Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chants of G.R.E.Queirela echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as SC Vergada had held the ball for most of the match.
