Spectators: 6659 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isidoro Sequeira started the match with the kick off. If Donato Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, SportingCP's goal looked a bit too open when Durval Dias came free, but Tomás Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mário Raposo's late challenge caught a SportingCP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mário Raposo helped the player get up and apologised. Reginaldo Vilaça was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Murilo Malheiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rui Gameiro. BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murilo Malheiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Durval Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM's supporters rose to their feet, but Durval Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 24 minutes, Mário Raposo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Raposo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26thth minute of the game Durval Dias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SportingCP's Tomás Oliveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Hermínio Porto fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SportingCP's protests and gave Hermínio Porto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SportingCP's Hermínio Porto got a free kick in the 29th minute. Mário Raposo, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Durval Dias sped through SportingCP's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomás Oliveira. 45 minutes into the match, BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sequeira came free, but Rui Gameiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SportingCP players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Durval Dias made a kick off. Rui Gameiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Durval Dias in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomás Oliveira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Donato Assis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Oliveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The long shot by Estevão Gusmão in the 56th minute really tested Tomás Oliveira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Durval Diass short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Tomás Oliveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sequeira in the 61st minute of play forced BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM's goalkeeper Rui Gameiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM were furious when Germano Ferrão was red carded, 64 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Germano Ferrão kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Reginaldo Vilaça sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM's Rui Gameiro didn't even have to move. BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 71st minute of the game, when Leonardo Dantas after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of SportingCP's goal. Leonardo Dantas was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Donato Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Oliveira having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Mário Raposo managed to get in a good position for a shot. BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário Raposo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But to his dismay, Isidoro Sequeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Leonardo Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Oliveira having to interfere. If Donato Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mário Raposo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sequeira in the 96th minute of play forced BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM's goalkeeper Rui Gameiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
