Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reinaldo Alves kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in VILLA AVC's zone, Lucas Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herberto Caeiro came out of the goal and Lucas Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albertino Guerra's late challenge caught a SC Serpente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albertino Guerra helped the player get up and apologised. Albertino Guerra hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 23rd match minute, SC Serpente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Rocha to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Cruz in the 24th minute of play forced SC Serpente's goalkeeper Hermano Palhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Rebocho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herberto Caeiro having to interfere. Herberto Caeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Rebocho, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Lucas Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Serpente's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herberto Caeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herberto Caeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Rebocho in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Rebocho in the 36th minute of play forced VILLA AVC's goalkeeper Herberto Caeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

53 minutes into the match, VILLA AVC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Rebocho came free, but Herberto Caeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Serpente's Lucas Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodoro Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermano Palhares having to interfere. When Reinaldo Alves, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 71 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Hermano Palhares was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Herberto Caeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Santos in the 75th minute of play. After 77 played minutes SC Serpente got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Borges. VILLA AVC's Teodoro Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, SC Serpente's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Teodoro Cruz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 80thth minute of the game Reinaldo Alves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Serpente's Hermano Palhares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herberto Caeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Rebocho in the 84th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Reinaldo Alves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hermano Palhares. Reinaldo Alves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. If Jorge Rebocho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
