The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonel Bentes was the one to do the kick off. Alberto Macedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Mourato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Mourato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Aguiar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Jacinto Mourato skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 67th minute of the match Artur Osório sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Leite skillfully saved the ball. When Rodrigo Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the SC Pateo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Aguiar couldn't finish the play. SC Pateo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. When the final whistle sounded SC Pateo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Toucinhos.
