Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The crowd rose to their feet as Mattas FC's Armando Leite slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Faria. That made the score 1-0 after 2 minutes of play. In the 7th minute Eusébio Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Fernando Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Paneladas's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Assunção was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute Armando Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match, Armando Leite tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carlos Faria saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the SC Paneladas defense, Afonso Anjos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Faria. The SC Paneladas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Faria should have stopped the shot. Afonso Anjos hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Eusébio Cabral put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Simões. The supporters of Mattas FC booed when SC Paneladas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, SC Paneladas's Carlos Faria got control of the ball when Afonso Anjos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armando Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. Eusébio Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the game, Fernando Assunção was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Paneladas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mattas FC the free kick. In the 59th minute, Fernando Assunção hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Mattas FC fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Mattas FC's Armando Leite looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fernando Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Simões having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, SC Paneladas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílcar Borges to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 77 minutes, Armando Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mattas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Simões was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gabriel Martins. Carlos Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Jesus in the 90th minute of the match. Carlos Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Anjos, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the referee ended the match the Mattas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
