Jacob Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Jacob Severo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Abrigada FC's Francisco Marques. Francisco Marques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abrigada FC's Nuno Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th match minute, Abrigada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Lisboa to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Bessa in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastião Ribeiro hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jacob Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Marques having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Bessa in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Marques saved Abrigada FC from getting behind. The supporters of Bufinha booed when Abrigada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastião Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Aleixo made a kick off. Francisco Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Bessa in the 52nd minute of the match. Nuno Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Gentil Lobo made a huge save. André Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Abrigada FC's goalkeeper Francisco Marques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd match minute, Abrigada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Lisboa to maneuver through the defense. Jacob Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Jacob Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viriato Aleixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gentil Lobo having to interfere. Francisco Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Severo in the 79th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Manuel Bessa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Marques was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Jacob Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Marques having to interfere. In the 90th minute Jacob Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
