After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Mário Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cacarilhe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário Sampaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Salvador Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Azenha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Camboso's Salvador Freire got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Cacarilhe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Freire came free, but Rodrigo Azenha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Cacarilhe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Freire came free, but Rodrigo Azenha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Azenha having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Salvador Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Azenha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvador Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rodrigo Azenha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Azenha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Vítor Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rodrigo Azenha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Azenha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salvador Freire went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After the first half SC Camboso were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st match minute, Cacarilhe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Lobato to maneuver through the defense. Egídio Eanes's late challenge caught a SC Camboso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egídio Eanes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cacarilhe FC's Egídio Eanes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Hélio Lobato thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Rodrigo Azenha, a very annoying self made goal in the 55th minute which led to 0-4. Salvador Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvador Freire took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Azenha. Rodrigo Azenha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vítor Falcão got free with Rodrigo Azenha in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vítor Falcão took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Azenha. Rodrigo Azenha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. When Avelino Dias fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Camboso's protests and gave Avelino Dias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute Salvador Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Azenha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Azenha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almiro Domingos in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Cacarilhe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Eanes to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Azenha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vítor Falcão went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. José Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Almiro Domingos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodrigo Azenha having to make a save. 93 minutes into the match, SC Camboso's Vítor Falcão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Azenha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SC Camboso's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
