Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Cândido Esteves made the kick off and thus started the match. Cândido Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Nuno Neto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Cândido Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Sintra United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cândido Esteves couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Domingos Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diogo Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 26 minutes, André Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sintra United's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Cândido Esteves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sintra United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 34 played minutes Carromeu FC got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Henriques. Papo Seco took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Faro. Lucas Faro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Lucas Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Esteves in the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Nuno Neto made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cândido Esteves in the 54th minute of play forced Carromeu FC's goalkeeper Lucas Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sintra United booed when Carromeu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Henriques didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Carlos Cabral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Faro skillfully saved the ball. After 64th play minutes Diogo Soares shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Paulo Leiria and just under the crossbar into goal. Sintra United's Cândido Esteves got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Carromeu FC's goalkeeper Lucas Faro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Mota. Rui Santarém hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If André Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78thth minute of the game Cândido Esteves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carromeu FC's Lucas Faro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Faro having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carromeu FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Sintra United a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlos Cabral, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Carromeu FC's Lucas Faro. 1-4. Cândido Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lucas Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sintra United played a much better game than Carromeu FC and deserved their victory. The Carromeu FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
