Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristóvão Veiga started the match with the kick off. If Daniel Malta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Adoes FC's Zeferino Mesquita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Amaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Adoes FC's Zeferino Mesquita got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute Gregório Ornelas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeferino Mesquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Sesimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Pereira in the 17th minute of the match. Daniel Malta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. David Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute of the match, Afonso Guerreiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but David Amaro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Ribela's zone, Gregório Ornelas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Amaro came out of the goal and Gregório Ornelas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Carmo during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Adoes FC's zone, Lúcio Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Sesimbra came out of the goal and Lúcio Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ribela's David Amaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ribela from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Cristóvão Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gregório Ornelas might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Amaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregório Ornelas ran back to his position shaking his head. André Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Alex Sesimbra made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, Adoes FC's goalkeeper Alex Sesimbra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusébio Faria. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeferino Mesquita in the 63rd minute of play forced Ribela's goalkeeper David Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Pereira got free with Alex Sesimbra in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Malta's late challenge caught a Ribela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Malta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Adoes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Malta to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes, Ribela's Vasco Henriques shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alex Sesimbra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ribela reached it. Alex Sesimbra made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when André Pereira sent off a good shot on target. Gregório Ornelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Amaro having to interfere. Ribela's André Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zeferino Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. David Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Pegado kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Ribela getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Daniel Matias hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Lúcio Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Ribela's goal looked a bit too open when Zeferino Mesquita came free, but David Amaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Adoes FC booed when Ribela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adoes FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
