When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Ferrão made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Calado during the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Covinhas's zone, Manuel Ferrão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adérito Fernandes came out of the goal and Manuel Ferrão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adérito Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Ferrão in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th match minute, SC Covinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Jarbas Raposo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jarbas Raposo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Jarbas Raposo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 94 minutes, Manuel Ferrão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Alcaravela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Ferrão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded SC Covinhas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Alcaravela.
