Gondivinho FC's Aparício Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Garcia in the 22nd minute of play. Rui Macedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aparício Nogueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rui Macedo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute, Quintino Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Macedo got free with Aparício Nogueira in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Boalhosa booed when Gondivinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Paião didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Garcia got free with Aparício Nogueira in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Emanuel Garcia notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Gondivinho FC's Aparício Nogueira. Aparício Nogueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Boalhosa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gondivinho FC were winning 1-2.

Aparício Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Macedo in the 56th minute of the match. Aparício Nogueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Leão's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrique Leão in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aparício Nogueira saved Gondivinho FC from getting behind. Albérico Resende's late challenge caught a Boalhosa 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albérico Resende helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Gondivinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Albérico Resende. Ivo Lucena hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Angelo Paião was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gondivinho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boalhosa the free kick.
