Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Américo Ramos took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Bonaval FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Domingues to maneuver through the defense. Gaieiras FC were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Bonaval FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laércio Caldeira took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Laércio Caldeira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Garcia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pedro Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Salvado in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Raul Freitas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bonaval FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 12 minutes in the game, Raul Freitas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Leandro Caneira having to interfere. If Américo Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Américo Ramos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Caneira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Leandro Caneira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Ramos in the 35th minute of play. Leandro Caneira was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Nuno Domingues capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nuno Domingues really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Salvado in the 48th minute of play forced Bonaval FC's goalkeeper Pedro Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eurico Salvado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leandro Caneira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Freitas went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When Valdemar Rangel fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaieiras FC's protests and gave Valdemar Rangel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Valdemar Rangel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Américo Ramos in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Caneira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 61 minutes, Angélico Rego mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaieiras FC and the Bonaval FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bonaval FC's Gaspar Nunes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gaieiras FC. In the 63rd match minute, Gaieiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avelino Gentil to maneuver through the defense. Gaieiras FC's Leandro Caneira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Ramos in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Avelino Gentil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Américo Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leandro Caneira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Freitas's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Américo Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Leandro Caneira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bonaval FC's Américo Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eurico Salvado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Valdemar Rangel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Freitas in the 92nd minute of play forced Gaieiras FC's goalkeeper Leandro Caneira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
