In the 61st minute, Álvaro Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sport Tires e Benfica's Gervásio Leite got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 78 minutes, Jorge Moura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alvor and the Sport Tires e Benfica players grew even worse after the yellow card.
