Sebastião Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Cabral in the 33rd minute of the match. When Armindo Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Valoura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armindo Sousa couldn't finish the play. The Valoura players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
