Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Jacinto Soeiro made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 9thth minute of the game Cláudio Lopes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Pomarao's Isidoro Távora was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joaquim Castro hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Paulo Cavallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Távora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Henriques having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Cláudio Lopes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xuta na Bola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Isidoro Távora came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Xuta na Bola's Paulo Cavallo. But to his dismay, Paulo Cavallo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Isidoro Távora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Saúl Carillanca in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Cláudio Lopes made a precise shot to the right of Isidoro Távora. SC Pomarao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 32 minutes into the match, Xuta na Bola's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Soeiro came free, but Catarino Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Távora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes of play, Xuta na Bola's Cláudio Lopes made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidoro Távora was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cláudio Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Paulo Cavallo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Isidoro Távora was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Cláudio Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Paulo Gaspar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Távora was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cláudio Lopes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SC Pomarao's Augusto Trindade got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Carlos Saúl Carillanca took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Isidoro Távora to make any attempt to save it. A very nice done corner allowed Cláudio Lopes to score against Isidoro Távora in SC Pomarao's goal. 0-9 after 64 minutes. Xuta na Bola's Cândido Guarda was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 70th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 74 minutes into the match, SC Pomarao's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Matias came free, but Isidoro Távora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viriato Cerqueira during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Viriato Cerqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cláudio Lopes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Isidoro Távora skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 77 minutes, Augusto Trindade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Pomarao and the Xuta na Bola players grew even worse after the yellow card. Augusto Trindade kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Carlos Saúl Carillanca took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidoro Távora. Isidoro Távora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. When Cláudio Lopes got free in front of the goal in the 84th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Isidoro Távora was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a little luck, SC Pomarao's Isidoro Távora got control of the ball when Cândido Guarda tried to sneak it across the goal line. SC Pomarao's Isidoro Távora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Gaspar in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Xuta na Bola's Carlos Saúl Carillanca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Gaspar during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Xuta na Bola getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Paulo Gaspar hit a great ball. Xuta na Bola's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
