Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Benedito Pedroso started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Adelino Pegado came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Samodaes FC's Ademar Vilhena. But to his dismay, Ademar Vilhena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Adelino Pegado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Gentil in the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, SC Olaia's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Pedroso came free, but Adelino Pegado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adelino Pegado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedito Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Pedroso in the 19th minute of play forced SC Olaia's goalkeeper Adelino Pegado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Benedito Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samodaes FC's Benedito Pedroso got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute Benedito Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Pegado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Lencastre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Estevão Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Pais kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Benedito Pedroso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adelino Pegado was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Adelino Pegado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Gentil in the 44th minute of the match. If Noel Gentil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandrino Nascimento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Noel Gentil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute Benedito Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Pegado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noel Gentil had several of the SC Olaia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 61 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Adelino Pegado as he didn't even see the shot coming. Noel Gentil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benedito Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Pegado having to interfere. Adelino Pegado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Vilela, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Noel Gentil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Pegado having to interfere. The Samodaes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 82 minutes into the match, SC Olaia's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Pedroso came free, but Adelino Pegado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Noel Gentil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samodaes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Gentil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Benedito Pedroso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noel Gentil got free with Adelino Pegado in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The SC Olaia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Samodaes FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
