Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Pedro Gueifão started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the game, Ricardo Teixeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Januário Guerreiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Afonso Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Eduardo Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Howald 06's protests and gave Eduardo Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. 19 minutes into the game, Howald 06's Pedro Gueifão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Januário Guerreiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of N.O.B DE PORTUGAL booed when Howald 06 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Gueifão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th match minute, N.O.B DE PORTUGAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romão Seixas to maneuver through the defense. Aldo Esparteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Esparteiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, one of N.O.B DE PORTUGAL:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for N.O.B DE PORTUGAL. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Howald 06. 范坚康 stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Januário Guerreiro. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Gueifão got free with Januário Guerreiro in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Romão Seixas made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Kåre Alberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 56 minutes into the match, N.O.B DE PORTUGAL's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Freitas came free, but Januário Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when André Pinto put in a rough tackle. In the 61st minute, one of Howald 06:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Howald 06. When the match had been going on for 64 minutes, N.O.B DE PORTUGAL's Aldo Esparteiro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kåre Alberg. After some careless play in the Howald 06 defense, Afonso Rodrigues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kåre Alberg. The Howald 06 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kåre Alberg should have stopped the shot. Mariano Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Januário Guerreiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Kåre Alberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonso Rodrigues in the 76th minute. After 77 played minutes Howald 06 got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Teixeira. Cândido Oliveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Januário Guerreiro having to make a save. Januário Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Martins in the 89th minute of play. Januário Guerreiro came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Howald 06's Cândido Oliveira. But to his dismay, Cândido Oliveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. After 97 played minutes N.O.B DE PORTUGAL got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Lemos. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, 范坚康 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Howald 06's supporters rose to their feet, but 范坚康 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Januário Guerreiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
