Hamilton Andrade made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Hugo Porto sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, one of Jueus:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jueus. When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, The Black and Yellows's Alexandre Pereira got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hamilton Andrade. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Porto got free with Hamilton Andrade in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute Rogério Quintanilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Porto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Hamilton Andrade when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hamilton Andrade made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Hugo Porto sent off a good shot on target. The Black and Yellows's attentive Fernando Guarda managed to snatch the ball when Leal Quinaz made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. Hamilton Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Porto in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rogério Quintanilha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hamilton Andrade came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by The Black and Yellows's Alberto Carvalho. But to his dismay, Alberto Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. The Black and Yellows had played much better football throughout.
