Quintino Faria's late challenge caught a Belem FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quintino Faria helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Negroes FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Belem FC:s goal. 11 minutes into the match, Barış Altuncuoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateus Carreira. Negroes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barış Altuncuoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingos Guarda in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateus Carreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Fortunato Troiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateus Carreira. Negroes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fortunato Troiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Lázaro Azenha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateus Carreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fortunato Troiano went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Troiano in the 35th minute of play forced Negroes FC's goalkeeper Mateus Carreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lázaro Azenha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Guarda in the 40th minute of play forced Negroes FC's goalkeeper Mateus Carreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingos Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mateus Carreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when José Bulhosa made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Domingos Guarda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateus Carreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. If Diamantino Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Domingos Guarda took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Mateus Carreira to make any attempt to save it. Fortunato Troiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Mateus Carreira made a huge save. Fortunato Troiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Carreira having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Belem FC's Domingos Guarda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mateus Carreira. That made the score 0-7 after 71 minutes of play. With a little luck, Negroes FC's Mateus Carreira got control of the ball when Fortunato Troiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fortunato Troiano in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mateus Carreira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 81 minutes, José Bulhosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Negroes FC and the Belem FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, Belem FC's Mateus Carreira threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Barış Altuncuoğlu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 95th minute, Fortunato Troiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Belem FC played a much better game than Negroes FC and deserved their victory. The Negroes FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
