Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Janko Timotijević got the match started through his kick off. Xavier Trindade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Macedo in the 3rd minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, SC Vairao's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Campos came free, but Xavier Trindade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 minutes of play, Cidoi FC's Heitor Ribeiro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xavier Trindade was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Cidoi FC's zone, Otto Dollimore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Nogueira came out of the goal and Otto Dollimore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to SC Vairao getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Alberto Monteiro hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Cidoi FC's Sandro Coelho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xavier Trindade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th match minute, Cidoi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Araújo to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, João Nogueira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Xavier Trindade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heitor Ribeiro in the 26th minute of the match. Lúcio Leite hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Sandro Coelho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xavier Trindade. SC Vairao's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otto Dollimore got free with João Nogueira in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, SC Vairao's Janko Timotijević sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Nogueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute Heitor Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Trindade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heitor Ribeiro took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xavier Trindade. Xavier Trindade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heitor Ribeiro in the 45th minute of play forced SC Vairao's goalkeeper Xavier Trindade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Alves was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Vairao's Manuel Carvalho got a free kick in the 54th minute. Otto Dollimore kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Xavier Trindade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bento Campos in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute Heitor Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Trindade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janko Timotijević in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Alberto Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cidoi FC's Sandro Coelho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Vairao. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Dollimore in the 71st minute of play forced Cidoi FC's goalkeeper João Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cidoi FC's Fernando Araújo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Janko Timotijević put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of João Nogueira. Xavier Trindade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heitor Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xavier Trindade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Alves in the 94th minute of play. SC Vairao's Xavier Trindade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Ribeiro in the 95th minute of play. Cidoi FC played a much better game than SC Vairao and deserved their victory. The SC Vairao players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
