Spectators: 7180 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sabino Monsanto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Achada FC's Joaquim Pereira suffered a sore knee after 2 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 2 minutes into the game, Joaquim Correia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Trajinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Achada FC the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, SC Trajinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Correia to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Hélder Delgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Trajinha. A collision led to Achada FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Lucas Matias hit a great ball. Lucas Matias charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Matias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th match minute, Achada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Matias to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes SC Trajinha got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Montenegro. Hélder Delgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Montenegro in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Trajinha's goalkeeper Albertino Ornelas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sabino Monsanto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Trajinha's Wilson Onofre got a free kick in the 22nd minute. SC Trajinha's Albertino Ornelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Ferreira in the 23rd minute of play. Eduardo Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Ornelas having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, SC Trajinha's Fernando Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hélder Delgado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Fernando Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sabino Monsanto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Delgado having to interfere. In the 40th minute Eduardo Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertino Ornelas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabino Monsanto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélder Delgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Montenegro in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Ferreira was the one to do the kick off. Sérgio Leiria hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see SC Trajinha's Patrício Vigário in action when he in the 52nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Fernando Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Trajinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eduardo Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eduardo Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Ferreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Albertino Ornelas made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Ferreira got free with Albertino Ornelas in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eduardo Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joaquim Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Achada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Montenegro came free, but Hélder Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Trajinha's zone, Eduardo Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertino Ornelas came out of the goal and Eduardo Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Achada FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
