Spectators: 7161 (Terracing: 5443, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sabino Monsanto started the match with the kick off. In the 7th match minute, SC Trajinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabino Monsanto to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Fernando Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Alcides Caneira. Rancosinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Fernando Montenegro took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alcides Caneira. Alcides Caneira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Montenegro got free with Alcides Caneira in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 17 minutes, Hermínio Novais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rancosinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermínio Novais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sabino Monsanto might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alcides Caneira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sabino Monsanto ran back to his position shaking his head. Sabino Monsanto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Trajinha's Wilson Onofre got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SC Trajinha's Wilson Onofre suffered a concussion in the 25th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Rancosinho's Hermínio Novais got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Fernando Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alcides Caneira having to interfere. Alcides Caneira made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Fernando Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Albertino Ornelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Novais in the 42nd minute of play. Fernando Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Alcides Caneira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hermínio Novais made the kick off in the second half. When SC Trajinha's Fernando Montenegro in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rancosinho's goalie prevented a goal. If Fernando Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, SC Trajinha's Telmo Camacho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alcides Caneira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute Fernando Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alcides Caneira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdemar Rijo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alcides Caneira having to interfere. After 65 played minutes SC Trajinha got a freekick which was hit by Sabino Monsanto. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Montenegro in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alcides Caneira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernando Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Alcides Caneira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rancosinho's Hermínio Novais got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Fernando Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Alcides Caneira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Trajinha had played much better football throughout.
