S.L.Feiposa's Alípio Pedroso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save S.L.Feiposa from getting a goal against them. After 5 played minutes S.L.Feiposa got a freekick which was hit by Artur Madeira. Joaquim Rocha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Alípio Pedroso 11 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, S.L.Feiposa's goalkeeper Alípio Pedroso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim Rocha. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for S.L.Feiposa! Bruno Rocha placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! A hard shot 24 in the game by Joaquim Rocha from a close distance when the talented Alípio Pedroso managed to make a qualified save. S.L.Feiposa's players were relieved. If Cláudio Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cláudio Resende blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alípio Pedroso having to make a save. In the 31st minute, Cláudio Resende fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Cláudio Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Joaquim Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alípio Pedroso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artur Madeira made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, CUD Liberii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Gueifão to maneuver through the defense. S.L.Feiposa's Alípio Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Resende in the 53rd minute of play. Alípio Pedroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Rocha in the 55th minute of the match. Cláudio Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Alípio Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Joaquim Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alípio Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alípio Pedroso came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by CUD Liberii's Joaquim Rocha. But to his dismay, Joaquim Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 67th minute, Cláudio Resende left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CUD Liberii fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Cláudio Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot. CUD Liberii's supporters rose to their feet, but Cláudio Resende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alípio Pedroso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute Joaquim Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alípio Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alípio Pedroso having to interfere. If Cláudio Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alípio Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, S.L.Feiposa's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Resende came free, but Alípio Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Alípio Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Resende struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Alípio Pedroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CUD Liberii. CUD Liberii's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
