Fermentelos FC's Joaquim Mourão got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afonso Lisboa struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Silvério Peixoto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.L.Feiposa. After 31 played minutes Fermentelos FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Mourão. After a defensive mix-up in Fermentelos FC's zone, Afonso Lisboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvério Peixoto came out of the goal and Afonso Lisboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Hermínio Gusmão got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alípio Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermínio Gusmão, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Fermentelos FC were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after S.L.Feiposa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gonçalo Barbosa took the corner. After taking down the ball on Fermentelos FC's corner Gonçalo Barbosa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alípio Pedroso quite easily take care of the ball. The Fermentelos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 63rd minute, Afonso Lisboa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Hermínio Gusmão came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Fermentelos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermínio Gusmão couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Afonso Lisboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.L.Feiposa's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Lisboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvério Peixoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. S.L.Feiposa's Artur Madeira got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Domingos Costa fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fermentelos FC's protests and gave Domingos Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Domingos Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 80 minutes of play, Fermentelos FC's Hermínio Gusmão made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alípio Pedroso was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Hermínio Gusmão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Joaquim Mourão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alípio Pedroso. S.L.Feiposa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Mourão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 4-0 came in the 91st minute when Hermínio Gusmão all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Alípio Pedroso. Fermentelos FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
