Éder Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes in the game, Duarte Almeida fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Éder Leão having to interfere. If Kevin Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Sandro Matos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The baesuris sad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gil Domingues to make the kick off. Duarte Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. After 68 played minutes baesuris sad got a freekick which was hit by António Cortez. When Duarte Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the S.L. Cartaxo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Almeida couldn't finish the play. Gil Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Domingues in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Éder Leão saved baesuris sad from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, S.L. Cartaxo's goalkeeper Gonçalo Simões had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandro Matos. 88 minutes into the game, António Cortez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gonçalo Simões. António Cortez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Gil Domingues sped through baesuris sad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Éder Leão. A collision led to S.L. Cartaxo getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Gil Domingues hit a great ball. If Duarte Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over baesuris sad could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S.L. Cartaxo throughout the match.
