When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiago Fontes made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Altino Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Basílio Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Guerra was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, Silvite's goalkeeper Pedro Guerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basílio Amorim. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celso Varanda took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Antunes. Tomás Antunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Gouxa were furious when Alexandre Bessa was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 90 played minutes Gouxa got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Bessa. José Neto hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
