Spectators: 7115 (Terracing: 5408, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 50) Augusto Brás started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4th play minutes Augusto Brás shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Pedro Leão and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Gomes in the 12th minute of play forced Futebol Clube 31's goalkeeper Horacio Lertxun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gil Mota fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futebol Clube 31's protests and gave Gil Mota a yellow card for diving instead. 3-1 became the score in the 23rd minute when Augusto Brás elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Pedro Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benigno Crescencio in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Jorge Gomes made a precise shot to the right of Horacio Lertxun. Futebol Clube 31's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. With a little luck, SC Benespera's Pedro Leão got control of the ball when Benigno Crescencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Horacio Lertxun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Henriques in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benigno Crescencio got free with Pedro Leão in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul Henriques was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Nuno Pinho put in a rough tackle. 58 minutes into the game, one of Futebol Clube 31:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tiago Luz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Jaime Nogueira's late challenge caught a SC Benespera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Nogueira helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Futebol Clube 31 got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Nogueira. The audience was convinced that Raul Henriques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horacio Lertxun was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Pedro Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Crescencio in the 73rd minute of play. Benigno Crescencio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Leão having to make a save. Afonso Antunes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Leão having to make a save. Afonso Antunes hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Jorge Pedroso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, SC Benespera's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Leal came free, but Pedro Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Lúcio Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Lertxun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diogo Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Pedro Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Futebol Clube 31 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
