After 64 played minutes, Ferradosa's Jorge Carvalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristiano Mascarenhas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ferradosa reached it. After having played for 67 minutes, Laércio Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Vila Franca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laércio Flores was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 68 minutes of play, SC Vila Franca's Porfírio Cortez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mário Brás was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Vila Franca's Porfírio Cortez got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 76 minutes, Claudemiro Lameiras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Vila Franca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudemiro Lameiras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Porfírio Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Brás having to interfere. Ferradosa's Mário Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Flores in the 86th minute of play. Rafael Carvalhais blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mário Brás having to make a save. In the 87th minute Porfírio Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Laércio Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Porfírio Cortez got free with Mário Brás in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Carvalho's late challenge caught a SC Vila Franca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Ferradosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Mário Brás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Porfírio Cortez in the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over SC Vila Franca could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ferradosa throughout the match.
