Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bernardo Dantas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Amílcar Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Marco Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingos Fonseca came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Palao's Hugo Correia. But to his dismay, Hugo Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Domingos Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Correia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingos Fonseca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, SC Palao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Costa to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 30 minutes, Amílcar Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sobrados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílcar Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31stth minute of the game Hugo Correia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sobrados's Domingos Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Sobrados getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Joaquim Mendes hit a great ball. Bernardo Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Fonseca having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardo Correia was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sobrados's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cândido Leite was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Palao's players had a chance to rest. When SC Palao's Bernardo Correia in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sobrados fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Domingos Fonseca went to the wrong direction when Cândido Leite was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Hugo Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 81 played minutes, Sobrados's Fernando Correia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marco Monteiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sobrados reached it. When Bernardo Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Sobrados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Dantas couldn't finish the play. If Bernardo Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Correia got free with Domingos Fonseca in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 97 minutes into the match, Sobrados's goalkeeper Domingos Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Correia. 98 minutes into the match, Bernardo Correia notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sobrados's Domingos Fonseca. Domingos Fonseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Palao eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
