Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sálvio Tinoco got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Creacao's Pedro Vilanova got control of the ball when Valentim Benevides tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Vilanova took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentim Benevides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentim Benevides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Valentim Benevides came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Cabriteira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentim Benevides couldn't finish the play. After 23 played minutes Creacao got a freekick which was hit by Albérico Amaro. Pedro Vilanova was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valentim Benevides showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. When Sálvio Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Cabriteira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sálvio Tinoco couldn't finish the play. Pedro Vilanova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sálvio Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Patrício Balsemão was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Creacao fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Pedro Vilanova, was totally fooled by Cabriteira's Manuel Peralta, who 36 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Creacao's Pedro Vilanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentim Benevides in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Creacao's Albérico Amaro got a free kick in the 41st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Manuel Novais made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Creacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alcides Gois to maneuver through the defense. Sálvio Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Pedro Vilanova tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentim Benevides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Novais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Cassiano Pais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentim Benevides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Vilanova having to interfere. Valentim Benevides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Vilanova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentim Benevides, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Creacao's goalkeeper Pedro Vilanova, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Vilanova stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentim Benevides's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Valentim Benevides struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Pedro Vilanova didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabriteira. In the 80th minute Valentim Benevides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Vilanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Cabriteira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Plácido Lima to maneuver through the defense. Creacao's Pedro Vilanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sálvio Tinoco in the 83rd minute of play. Valentim Benevides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Vilanova having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Cabriteira's Valentim Benevides sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Vilanova narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cabriteira fully deserved thier win.
