Coxos e Pernetas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pousade the free kick. Dário Vilaça was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pousade's zone, Germano Salgueiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Severiano came out of the goal and Germano Salgueiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandre Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Torcato Bento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Severiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torcato Bento having to interfere. After 25 minutes, Carlos Severiano made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Coxos e Pernetas FC's Torcato Bento tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Germano Salgueiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Miguel Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Miguel Valente fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pousade's protests and gave Miguel Valente a yellow card for diving instead. Torcato Bento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Severiano in the 36th minute of the match. Torcato Bento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Severiano in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Carlos Severiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torcato Bento was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 47 minutes into the match, Pousade's Carlos Severiano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torcato Bento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Severiano to make the kick off. Alexandre Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Pousade's Carlos Severiano in the 55th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Torcato Bento was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Coxos e Pernetas FC through an amazing save. In the 59th minute, Miguel Valente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Coxos e Pernetas FC's Alcino Ávila got a free kick in the 65th minute. Carlos Severiano struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Torcato Bento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pousade. 68 minutes into the match, Coxos e Pernetas FC's goalkeeper Torcato Bento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mário Matias. With an all-out effort, Pousade's Torcato Bento threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Severiano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Miguel Valente came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Pousade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Valente couldn't finish the play. Alexandre Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Torcato Bento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Antunes in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Torcato Bento, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Juliano Fidalgo was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Pousade booed when Coxos e Pernetas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliano Fidalgo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Alexandre Antunes made a precise shot to the right of Torcato Bento. Coxos e Pernetas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Torcato Bento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Severiano's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 95th minute, Alexandre Antunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torcato Bento was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Pousade played a much better game than Coxos e Pernetas FC and deserved their victory. The Coxos e Pernetas FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
