Honorato Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Miranda in the 17th minute of play. Delfim Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Sesimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Coimbra having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Joel Sesimbra dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sebastião Coimbra, 1-0. Angelo Castanheira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Coimbra having to interfere. With a little luck, Bolhas's Sebastião Coimbra got control of the ball when Angelo Castanheira tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Calhandriz's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Delgado came free, but Honorato Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Delgado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorato Soares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Honorato Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st match minute, Calhandriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Homero Baldaia to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Delgado in the 44th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delfim Miranda in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Soares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Delgado was the one to do the kick off. Delfim Vilela charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delfim Vilela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Delfim Vilela kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Calhandriz's goalkeeper Honorato Soares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delfim Miranda. 61 minutes into the match, Bolhas's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Vilela came free, but Sebastião Coimbra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Castanheira in the 68th minute of play forced Bolhas's goalkeeper Sebastião Coimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorato Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandre Delgado's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Honorato Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delfim Miranda in the 76th minute. Homero Baldaia hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Alexandre Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Honorato Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute Joel Sesimbra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Coimbra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Delgado in the 88th minute of play forced Calhandriz's goalkeeper Honorato Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rui Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Calhandriz's Honorato Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Delgado in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
