The corner ended in Filipe Marques almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Modelos FC's Pedro Ribas did a great save. Cristiano Bessa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Pedro Ribas made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Gonçalo Assis took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Pedro Ribas to make any attempt to save it. NBL FC's Gonçalo Assis got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Cristiano Bessa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cristiano Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonçalo Assis scored 3-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Ribas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandre Barros hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Modelos FC's Pedro Ribas got control of the ball when Cristiano Bessa tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Assis in the 41st minute of play forced Modelos FC's goalkeeper Pedro Ribas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Modelos FC's Sílvio Ferreira got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, NBL FC's Gonçalo Assis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

If Cristiano Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Assis scored 5-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Ribas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristiano Bessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Pedro Ribas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amável Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonçalo Assis in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Ribas saved Modelos FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Assis in the 79th minute of play forced Modelos FC's goalkeeper Pedro Ribas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Bessa struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Pedro Ribas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NBL FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armindo Cunha in the 83rd minute of play forced Modelos FC's goalkeeper Pedro Ribas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NBL FC's Gonçalo Assis got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Ribas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Assis, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Armindo Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. NBL FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Armindo Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Ribas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
