Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Flávio Patrício kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geraldo Morais in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hildeberto Travassos saved Martir from getting behind. Danilo Patrício fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hildeberto Travassos having to interfere. Geraldo Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Geraldo Morais left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SL Dioguitos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Morais in the 23rd minute of play forced Martir's goalkeeper Hildeberto Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When SL Dioguitos's Danilo Patrício in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Martir's goalie prevented a goal. Hildeberto Travassos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st minute, Micael Furtado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SL Dioguitos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. SL Dioguitos's Rodrigo Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Patrício in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geraldo Morais was the one to do the kick off. SL Dioguitos's Geraldo Morais got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Vilalobos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Hildeberto Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geraldo Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hildeberto Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Morais in the 67th minute of play. Danilo Patrício sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Geraldo Morais dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hildeberto Travassos, 0-4. Hildeberto Travassos came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by SL Dioguitos's Danilo Patrício. But to his dismay, Danilo Patrício quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Martir's zone, Geraldo Morais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hildeberto Travassos came out of the goal and Geraldo Morais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Martir's Hildeberto Travassos got control of the ball when Danilo Patrício tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geraldo Morais in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hildeberto Travassos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SL Dioguitos played a much better game than Martir and deserved their victory. The Martir players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
