After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Flavio Perrando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Algueirão FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Perrando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Algueirão FC's Bernardo Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filinto Raposo in the 81st minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Algueirão FC's Albertino Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurício Calçada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 92 minutes into the game, Eusébio Soares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maurício Calçada. Eusébio Soares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4.
