Spectators: 7297 (Terracing: 5474, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) Flavio Perrando started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Domingos Marinho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Algueirão FC's Bernardo Faria. Bernardo Faria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hildeberto Seixas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Faria having to make a save. Hildeberto Seixas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Faria having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Verdoejense's Pedro Braga got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Algueirão FC's Lucas Sousa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Micael Bulhosa, made in the 25th minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Hildeberto Seixas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juvenal Valério made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Perrando in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Hildeberto Seixas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verdoejense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hildeberto Seixas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Aguiar hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Hildeberto Seixas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Hildeberto Seixas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domingos Marinho was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Algueirão FC's Flavio Perrando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juvenal Valério made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Algueirão FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Flavio Perrando hit a great ball. Domingos Marinho took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Faria. Bernardo Faria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 69th minute, Hildeberto Seixas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernardo Faria. The goal made the score 1-3. After 72 played minutes Verdoejense got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Brás. Flavio Perrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 78 minutes, Pedro Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verdoejense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Braga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Faria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingos Marinho in the 80th minute. Algueirão FC's Albertino Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Faria was a little too slow when Hildeberto Seixas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-4. The Algueirão FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Verdoejense were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
