Spectators: 7135 (Terracing: 5353, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 141) Codecal's Cristiano Azeredo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Humberto Gentil kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Codecal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Neto was slow to take the kick. During this time BR SQUAD's players had a chance to rest. In the 15th minute, Claudemiro Cruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Codecal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Manuel Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Azeredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 30 minutes into the match, Codecal's goal looked a bit too open when André Santos came free, but Elias Festas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, André Santos notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Codecal's Elias Festas. Elias Festas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 33 played minutes BR SQUAD got a freekick which was hit by António Dantas. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristiano Azeredo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Amorim. That made the score 2-2 in the 35 minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match Tomé Guerreiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Amorim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wanderson Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Elias Festas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BR SQUAD. When Gaspar Reis fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BR SQUAD's protests and gave Gaspar Reis a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 62nd minute, Marco Jesus made a precise shot to the right of Elias Festas. Codecal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. BR SQUAD's Marco Jesus got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudemiro Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marco Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BR SQUAD's attentive Wanderson Carvalho managed to snatch the ball when Palmiro Carrasqueira made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, BR SQUAD's Marco Jesus got a free kick in the 84th minute.
