Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) Vítor Coimbra started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Américo Festas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute, Rogelio Aurre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vítor Coimbra took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salvador Bessa. Salvador Bessa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Coimbra in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salvador Bessa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th match minute, Baleia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimas Vaz to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Vítor Coimbra put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Salvador Bessa. Salvador Bessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Aurre in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the Baleia FC defense, Rogelio Aurre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Salvador Bessa. The Baleia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Salvador Bessa should have stopped the shot. José Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Azenha in the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Vítor Coimbra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gondoriz's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Coimbra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Bessa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes in the game, Vítor Coimbra dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caio Resende got free with José Rodrigues in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Vítor Coimbra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvador Bessa was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Salvador Bessa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Aurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 34 minutes, Vítor Coimbra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gondoriz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Coimbra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Coimbra in the 37th minute of play forced Baleia FC's goalkeeper Salvador Bessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvador Bessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Aurre in the 38th minute of play. Greg McLeverty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Bessa having to interfere. In the 42nd minute of the game, Baysal Bağcı landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Dimas Vaz fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baleia FC's protests and gave Dimas Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. Gondoriz's Armando Teixeira was substituted for Baysal Bağcı. A collision led to Baleia FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dimas Vaz hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Teodoro Azenha made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Teodoro Azenha made a precise shot to the right of José Rodrigues. Gondoriz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Caio Resende kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Gondoriz's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Azenha came free, but José Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Azenha in the 71st minute of play forced Gondoriz's goalkeeper José Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gondoriz getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Carlos Gaspar hit a great ball. Gondoriz's José Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Azenha in the 77th minute of play. Rogelio Aurre took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salvador Bessa. Salvador Bessa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. When Rogelio Aurre came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Gondoriz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Aurre couldn't finish the play. Greg McLeverty's late challenge caught a Baleia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Greg McLeverty helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Gondoriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greg McLeverty to maneuver through the defense. Marco Sacramento struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. José Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baleia FC. The audience was convinced that Vítor Coimbra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvador Bessa was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Rogelio Aurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match was over Gondoriz could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Baleia FC throughout the match.
