In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sanguinhaes FC's goalkeeper Armindo Gouveia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Sanguinhaes FC's Armindo Gouveia got control of the ball when Valter Lisboa tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Peseiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gastão Pinto having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Peseiro in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gastão Pinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Valter Lisboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Boza's supporters rose to their feet, but Valter Lisboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Gouveia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Adão Severiano made the kick off in the second half. Valter Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Gouveia having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sanguinhaes FC defense, Valter Lisboa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Gouveia. The Sanguinhaes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Gouveia should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Valadares during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Armindo Gouveia went to the wrong direction when Pedro Póvoas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 88 minutes into the match, SC Boza's goalkeeper Gastão Pinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Peseiro. Valter Lisboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Armindo Gouveia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Boza's zone, João Peseiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gastão Pinto came out of the goal and João Peseiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Peseiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gastão Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Adelino Peseiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, SC Boza's Pedro Póvoas tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Boza had won after a very even match.
