Sandro Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Guarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When Ricardo Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Felizes FC fans jumped to their feet. Adelino Guarda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adelino Guarda took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandro Baptista. Sandro Baptista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Adelino Guarda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandro Baptista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Adelino Guarda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sandro Baptista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adelino Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Sandro Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandro Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Guarda in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Adelino Guarda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandro Baptista was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Tomé Viveiros made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bandeira FC's Tomé Viveiros got a free kick in the 51st minute. Adelino Guarda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandro Baptista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Bandeira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Guarda came free, but Sandro Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Felizes FC's Ricardo Pinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandro Baptista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Bandeira FC's zone, Adelino Guarda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro Baptista came out of the goal and Adelino Guarda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Bandeira FC's Sandro Baptista got control of the ball when Ricardo Pinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Ricardo Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Felizes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Adelino Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Bandeira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Guarda came free, but Sandro Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adelino Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelino Guarda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandro Baptista having to make a save. When the match was over Felizes FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bandeira FC throughout the match.
