Adão Domingues scored 1-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vítor Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivo Macedo made a kick off. In the 57th minute Carlos Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Diegues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FC Bairro Madre Deus's Vítor Carvalho got control of the ball when Adão Domingues tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vítor Carvalho was a little too slow when Ivo Macedo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 1-2. 67 minutes into the match, Almada Clube Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Fontes came free, but Rui Diegues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vítor Carvalho came out and tried to block the shot, but Vivaldo Guimarães slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 90th minute. Paulo Fontes struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Rui Diegues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bairro Madre Deus. Vítor Carvalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivo Macedo went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Almada Clube Portugal's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
