GFAES's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Joaquim Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GFAES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Delgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind GFAES's goalkeeper Gil Severo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sílvio Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 30 minutes, Aprígio Prates managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arronches's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aprígio Prates was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aprígio Prates couldn't finish the play. Aprígio Prates's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Severo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Paulo Carmona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Barros having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Arronches's zone, Joaquim Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cândido Barros came out of the goal and Joaquim Delgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 73 minutes, Aprígio Prates managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arronches's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aprígio Prates was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sílvio Matias succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 86th playminute. After having played for 93 minutes, Aprígio Prates managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arronches's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aprígio Prates was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gil Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aprígio Prates in the 95th minute of the match. Sílvio Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
