Spectators: 6683 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 10) Sporting CP's José Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting CP from getting a goal against them. When Sporting CP's Vasco Cabral in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Bispeira's goalie prevented a goal. Albertino Gouveia came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting CP's Vasco Cabral. But to his dismay, Vasco Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasco Cabral in the 15th minute of play forced SC Bispeira's goalkeeper Albertino Gouveia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vasco Cabral in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albertino Gouveia saved SC Bispeira from getting behind. Olívio Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Vasco Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Sporting CP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasco Cabral couldn't finish the play. After 27 minutes, Amílcar Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting CP and the SC Bispeira players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Sporting CP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílcar Andrade to maneuver through the defense. When João Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Sporting CP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Ramos couldn't finish the play. In the 29th match minute, SC Bispeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Portugal to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasco Cabral in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albertino Gouveia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute Marco Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Vasco Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Gouveia having to interfere. João Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albertino Gouveia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Bispeira's Albertino Gouveia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasco Cabral in the 49th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vasco Cabral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, João Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasco Cabral in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albertino Gouveia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If João Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertino Gouveia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasco Cabral in the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to SC Bispeira getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ronaldo Brochado hit a great ball. The supporters of Sporting CP booed when SC Bispeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Brochado didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Bispeira's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Vasco Cabral scored to the left of an out of position Albertino Gouveia, making the score, 0-4. After 77 minutes, Marco Fraga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Bispeira and the Sporting CP players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes SC Bispeira got a freekick which was hit by Marco Fraga. SC Bispeira's Albertino Gouveia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasco Cabral in the 81st minute of play. After 83 played minutes SC Bispeira got a freekick which was hit by Januário Aires. Amílcar Andrade hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Albertino Gouveia came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting CP's João Ramos. But to his dismay, João Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Olívio Maciel took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Melo. José Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Sporting CP's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
