Cestais FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joaquim Magalhães's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Américo Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After 27 played minutes Alexandre Valente rounded Cestais FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandre Valente to make the kick off. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
