Kevin Macena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Viegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Ilídio Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Aragão scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Fontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute Ilídio Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sacoto FC's zone, Ilídio Setúbal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Fontes came out of the goal and Ilídio Setúbal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fábio Aragão struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. João Fontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SCP Pargo.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandre Viegas to strike the kick off in the second half. Hélio Câmara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. João Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Fábio Aragão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Fontes. Fábio Aragão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Viegas during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sacoto FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Alexandre Viegas hit a great ball. Ilídio Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Sacoto FC's João Fontes got control of the ball when Ilídio Setúbal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kevin Macena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Viegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juliano Brito in the 73rd minute of play forced Sacoto FC's goalkeeper João Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Fontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilídio Setúbal's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Ilídio Setúbal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Fontes having to make a save. Fábio Aragão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, SCP Pargo's Miguel Bandeira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Fontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ilídio Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SCP Pargo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
