But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Éder Sesimbra couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Éder Sesimbra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sálvio Teles was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Micael Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Nunes scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aloísio Regalado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Micael Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Regalado having to interfere. Timóteo Gama could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Sálvio Teles made a huge save. After a rather tough play, SL MOTA's Angélico Pedroso got a free kick in the 29th minute. A collision led to SedasII getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Carlos Nunes hit a great ball. Éder Sesimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sálvio Teles having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Éder Sesimbra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SedasII's Sálvio Teles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Micael Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Nunes made a kick off. Sálvio Teles came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by SL MOTA's Lisandro Medeiros. But to his dismay, Lisandro Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Timóteo Gama fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sálvio Teles having to interfere. Carlos Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute of the match Inácio Regueira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aloísio Regalado skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of SedasII booed when SL MOTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, SedasII's Carlos Nunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aloísio Regalado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SL MOTA's Aloísio Regalado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save SL MOTA from getting a goal against them. Sálvio Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Éder Sesimbra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Carlos Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SL MOTA's Aloísio Regalado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Nunes in the 91st minute of play. Carlos Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Regalado having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
