Dércio Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Márcio Tristão took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for David Sá to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Serafim sport clube booed when SC Infesta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesualdo Aires didn't get a good kick on the ball. If André Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, André Leite notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of SC Infesta's Dércio Machado. Dércio Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 2-3 when André Leite sped through SC Infesta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dércio Machado. Dércio Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Domingues in the 90th minute of play. SC Infesta's Dércio Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Domingues in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Serafim sport clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Infesta.
