The referee ignored SC Infesta's protests and gave Paulino Frois a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, SC Infesta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Frois to maneuver through the defense. Inácio Regueira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dércio Machado. SC Infesta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carlos Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 7 played minutes SC Infesta got a freekick which was hit by Nicolau Benevides. When SedasII's Micael Santos in 11 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Dércio Machado guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 13 minutes, Nicolau Benevides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Infesta and the SedasII players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Infesta getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Nicolau Benevides hit a great ball. Carlos Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Carlos Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Micael Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Dércio Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Fernandes hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Carlos Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dércio Machado having to interfere. In the 31st minute Carlos Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dércio Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ivo Assis fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SedasII's protests and gave Ivo Assis a yellow card for diving instead. Ivo Assis hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute of the match Raimundo Soares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sálvio Teles skillfully saved the ball. In the 40th match minute, SedasII was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Prada to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Carlos Nunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dércio Machado was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Carlos Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dércio Machado having to interfere.

Aldo Ferraz thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Dércio Machado, a very annoying self made goal in the 53rd minute which led to 1-0. Viriato Ruas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sálvio Teles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Hélio Prada kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Márcio Tristão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sálvio Teles. That made the score 1-1 in the 61 minute of play. In the 65th minute, Micael Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolau Benevides hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When Gaspar Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SedasII's protests and gave Gaspar Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SedasII! The referee gave SC Infesta a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Raimundo Soares, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SedasII's Sálvio Teles. 1-2. 78 minutes into the match, SC Infesta's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Nunes came free, but Dércio Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, SC Infesta's Márcio Tristão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sálvio Teles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicolau Benevides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Sálvio Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Márcio Tristão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Márcio Tristão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Infesta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
