The supporters of Goujoim booed when MIGUEL113 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Monsanto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Goujoim's Nuno Moniz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nuno Moniz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Goujoim protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nuno Moniz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Goujoim:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MIGUEL113:s goal. The referee gave MIGUEL113 a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leal Onofre, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Goujoim's Joel Aleixo. 0-1. Goujoim's Joel Aleixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Vilela in the 28th minute of play. When Luís Vaz fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goujoim's protests and gave Luís Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. If Gonçalo Vilela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Óscar Lencastre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Aleixo. Goujoim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Óscar Lencastre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gonçalo Vilela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Aleixo having to make a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Óscar Lencastre to strike the kick off in the second half. Joel Aleixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Lencastre in the 53rd minute of the match.
